CBD Banana Oat Pancake Recipe
If you’re American or have ever traveled to the states, you know that pancakes are an absolute staple in American comfort food!
Many of us are familiar with packaged pancake mixes that read “just add water.”
To be completely honest, I ate processed pancake mixes for most of my life, until I started getting more particular about knowing exactly what I was putting into my body.
After experimenting with many recipes, this CBD Banana Oat Recipe has made it’s way to the top of the list because of how quick, easy, healthy, and how protein-packed this recipe is!
Prep Time: 5 min
Cook Time: 5-10 min
Ingredients: Serves 1 (2-3 pancakes)
¾ cup rolled oats
1 scoop CBD Hemp and Collagen Protein (15% OFF at bottom)
1 tsp aluminum-free baking powder
1 banana
¼ cup almond milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
1 egg
2 tbsp butter (I like probiotic plant-based butter)
To make the batter from scratch, you’re going to have to separate the dry and wet ingredients to get the best consistency.
Prior to making the batter, I put the burner on medium to start preheating the pan.
Step 1: Blend Dry Ingredients
Make sure that the blender is completely dry before adding in the ingredients. Add the rolled oats, CBD Protein, and baking powder into the blender. Then blend on high for about 30 seconds, or until the powder is relatively fine.
Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients
Once you have the right consistency for the powder, add in the almond milk, vanilla extract, egg, banana, and salt. Blend well until the batter is smooth.
If you like extra fluffy pancakes, let the batter sit for about 2 minutes while the pan finishes preheating.
Generously butter the pan, and start cooking the cakes.
Once the pancakes begin to rise and have bubbles forming, unstick the pancake and it should be ready to flip.
Cook on the opposite side for about 1-3 minutes, the pancakes should now be ready to be served!
